It has arrived, fan season. Today was the first day since November I think that I had to pull out the fan. Gone are the days of wearing long johns 24 hours a day and fast approaching are the days of quickly moving (but not too quick because you don't went to work up a sweat if you can avoid it) from one air conditioned (or fanned as I prefer) place to another.

Along with the warmer temperatures has come the fragrance of spring. Yesterday as I walked through campus I noticed how sweet the air smelled. I enjoyed the long inhales of spring air as I passed flowering shrubs and blossoming trees.

I agree with Kels - very gorgeous pictures! Spring is slowly arriving here too, only it's brown and dirty looking. I do have some green shoots coming up in my flower beds though. I'm looking forward to discovering if I have a green thumb or not!
The pictures are great and I can say that because I didn't take them. I found them on the internet but these are the flowers among many others that are in bloom.
