Alberta's Beautiful Places and People

While I was in Alberta for my Uncle Victor's I enjoyed the company for good family and friends. That's what I was thankful for over that Thanksgiving weekend.

Even though it was short hike to Grassi Lakes in Canmore it was definitely worth the drive from Calgary to hang out with my Dad and get a small dose of mountain air.
If it had been warmer a swim would have been tempting.

My Aunt Lilli, Uncle Paul and Aunt Cilly were staying with my parents while I was back, which was great because I had a chance to visit with them more than just after the funeral.

The art in Fish Creek provided much entertainment and photo opportunities.

Along a walk in Fish Creek I spotted Tom's Aunt Lillian with her Grandson, Nolan as well as cousin Julia and boyfriend Ricky.
Nolan seems like a happy little guy.
I was happy to fit in some more visiting with Patrick and Leah before I left. They have done a lot of work on their home since I saw it last. It's looking real nice, real nice.

A quick visit with Alana and Garth at their new home
The AMAZING view from Alana and Garth's back deck. I have already invited myself over to their place over for a skating party on the pond this Christmas.

I don't have any photos to prove it, but I spent a lovely breakfast with Lindsay and her darling little girl, Kate.
