Good Friday Nature Walk

Good Friday was a beautiful day here. We spent the afternoon wandering through a wooded area that a co-worker had told me about. She commented on the hilly landscape and that there is enough trail to walk for a couple of hours. Tom and I have been looking for another good place to walk close to home were one can be out for a couple of hours and not have to retrace our tracks. Dryden Track is our new favourite walking spot.

At this time of year you can see deep into the forest and get a good sense of the terrain.

We took a break here to enjoy the elevation and warmth of the sun. These landowners are privileged to have a hard wood forest in their backyard.
