Tom and I had a wonderful time touring around Yunnan over the holidays. We have a lot of great pictures for the trip so stay tuned for up coming posts.
Our New Year started off a little slow and sluggish. One after the other we got the flu. This was like no other flu I have ever had. Asian flues are nasty. I had a similar experience in Taiwan.
Now we have both regained our energy and appetite expect for Chinese vegetarian food and Korean food.
Tom started his FINAL semester this week, which includes two courses and a dissertation. I am adjusting to a new schedule of studying fifteen hours a week of Mandarin at Hong Kong University and working part-time.
The evenings are cool now and the daytime is comfortable, which translate to hiking season in Hong Kong. We are looking forward to exploring the trails near our house and those in the New Territories.
I wish all of you the very best this year. Go in peace.
